The Summer Classics High Point introductions reflect how people are living and enjoying their homes today. As more homeowners make their outdoor spaces feel like another room, they want luxurious furnishings with a feel of the indoors.
Inviting and comfortable were two key elements our designers had in mind when creating the Helena and Baldwin collections. These two sumptuous upholstered pieces, covered in linen dove fabric, mix well with other collections and provide stylish, luxurious outdoor seating.
The new Roma collection mixes well with the Baldwin (pictured above) or looks fabulous together as a set. Inspired by the simplistic curves found in Italian antiques, the Roma collection weaves together richly colored wrought aluminum with details of gold cast aluminum. Sturdy and timeless, this Collection stands the test of time, just like Italian style.
We’re also introducing some new textures this season that are reflective of the indoors. The Newport, for example, has the 1950s beach look of vintage rattan furnitures. A subtle brush finish applied to the N-Dura Resin material adds a nice texture that gives the pieces a natural finish. This designer line mixes elegantly with other pieces in our collections.
The refined look of mid-century modern design comes alive in the beauty of plantation grade teak with our Woodlawn collection. Details such as the bataan sling back on the chair, clean lines and gracefully fitted cushion enhance the style. The chairs contain a recliner mechanism for a relaxed feel and the two-seat settee fits perfectly in smaller spaces.
Several new additions to the 2018 line allow designers to add layers of elegance to outdoor rooms. First, a variety of new accent tables with mixed materials are being introduced into the line, including two new bar carts. There are also more than 100 new fabrics being introduced this year, giving designers the freedom to create rooms that reflect personal style.
