After a long winter, there’s nothing more refreshing than moving your living room outdoors. StyleMaker Jennifer Prock gave her patio a beautiful makeover just in time to enjoy it for the spring season. A continuation of her living room with or without the French doors open, Jennifer likes to entertain friends with weekend dinner parties on her patio.
Based on the layout of her family room, Jennifer wanted to create an extension of this space for an even flow. She selected the Charleston collection from Summer Classics to complement both her personal taste and the space itself. The lounge chairs, coffee and side tables reflect her design taste while offering sophisticated beauty and functionality.
As a nature lover, Jennifer likes to incorporate plants, greenery and natural elements throughout her designs. She incorporated her love of greenery into her back patio makeover. As a matter of fact, due to the amount of concrete and brick, she find plants absolutely necessary for this type of space. They create a softness and balance which is greatly needed.
Jennifer designed the area to be elegant and intimate. The chairs face each other to encourage casual conversation. The rug adds an element of sophistication and pulls the look together. Accessories such as the basket and blanket also enhance the style of the space.
The outdoor space makes a great spot to sit with friends and family. In the winter, she plans to use the fireplace to make the outdoors more comfortable. Jennifer also enjoys baking, but also uses her local bakery as quick shortcut.
