SC Home to Open Second North Florida Location in Winter Park, FL
Summer Classics Home announces the planned opening of a new retail store in the Winter Park neighborhood of Orlando, Florida in spring 2019. As the national manufacturer and retailer of the Summer Classics luxury outdoor furniture line and the high-style Gabby indoor furniture brand, SC Home stores are designed to elevate the customer’s shopping experience.
Keeping in line with the success of the Jacksonville, FL location that opened last spring, the new Winter Park store is the next step in achieving the company’s vision for expanding into the North Florida market. Founder and CEO, Bew White says:
“There’s always been a big demand in the area for our products and when several furniture stores in the area went out of business, there was a need to fill. Because we are the manufacturer, Summer Classics Home offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that will fill that void.”
Winter Park is convenient to Orlando, and it is a unique community that reflects southern charm, beautiful architecture, and a coastal lifestyle. White believes that the mix of upscale charm and unique details make Winter Park, FL a perfect match for the SC Home brand.
Why shouldn’t your indoor style, continue to flow seamlessly onto your outdoor pool or patio? It can, and it should!
This unique design destination will provide customers with the opportunity to shop for both Summer Classics and Gabby brands in one place. In addition to furniture, the store will feature an eclectic assortment of home accessories, including its fashion-forward, performance pillow line, Wendy Jane by Gabby.
“Our stores celebrate what really drives our business and that is beautiful design,” stated Marianne Minogue, VP of Retail and Licensing.
SC Home strives to create a compelling environment through excellent service that helps to create an inviting home. Part of that experience includes a complimentary in-home consultation with SC Home design consultants.
“The building itself has a late ‘40s – early ‘50s vintage architecture and actually marries three buildings, plus a courtyard that adjoins a barber shop and restaurant,” said Special Projects Director, Roy Dollar. “We are adding architectural elements that reflect the age of the building and neighborhood, while also giving it an updated and eclectic feel.”
The 5,000 square-foot store will be located at 620 Fairbanks Avenue and will bring full and part-time career opportunities to the area. The launch of the new store will be celebrated with a grand opening in the first quarter of 2019.
