SC Home announces the planned opening of a new retail store in the Winter Park neighborhood of Orlando, Florida in spring 2019. As the national manufacturer and retailer of the Summer Classics luxury outdoor furniture line and the high style Gabby indoor furniture brand, SC Home stores are designed to elevate the customer’s shopping experience.

Keeping in line with the success of the SC Home store that opened last spring in Jacksonville, the new Winter Park location is part of CEO and Founder, Bew White’s vision for expansion into the north Florida market. “There’s always been a big demand in the area for our products created when several furniture stores in the area went out of business” said White. “Because we are the manufacturer, Summer Classics Home offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that will fill that void.”

While Winter Park is convenient to Orlando, it is a unique community that reflects southern charm, beautiful architecture and landscape. White believes that the mix of upscale charm and unique details make Winter Park a perfect match for the SC Home brands.

With the lines blurring between outdoor and indoor home furniture design, this unique design destination will provide customers the opportunity to shop for both brands in one place. In addition to furniture, the store will feature an eclectic assortment of home accessories, including its fashion-forward, performance pillow line, Wendy Jane by Gabby.

“Our stores celebrate what really drives our business and that is beautiful design,” stated Marianne Minogue, VP of Retail and Licensing. SC Home strives to create a compelling environment through excellent service that helps to create an inviting home. Part of that experience includes a complimentary in-home consultation with SC Home design consultants.

“The building itself is a late ‘40s – early ‘50s vintage and is the marriage of three buildings and a courtyard that adjoins a barber shop and restaurant,” said Special Projects Director, Roy Dollar. “We are adding architectural elements that reflect the age of the building and neighborhood, while also giving it an updated and eclectic feel.”

The 5,000 square-foot store will be located at 620 Fairbanks Avenue and will bring full and part-time career opportunities to the area. The launch of the new store will be celebrated with a grand opening in first quarter of 2019.
